Generation Next is smart & clever. We must encourage them to understand the depth of social issues.
Many persons and institutions dedicatedly work towards making young students realize the significance of the cleanliness. Even the Central Government too had assigned top priority to this subject lately. To augment these efforts, Sakal Social Foundation and Sakal NIE had organized a letter writing competition on the topic, ‘My Idea of a Clean India’. The competition that had started from 14th November, The Children’s Day, is for students of 5th to 10th standards. The students are supposed to write letters addressing to the Government or The Prime Minister in maximum 250 words. All the schools from Pune & PCMC along with selected schools from Pune District could participate in this contest. Sakal Social Foundation will contact the schools from the district to ensure maximum participation. Nicely written letters will receive awards while others will get the participation certificate. On behalf of the SSF & NIE, the award winning letters and a few more selective letters will be sent to Prime Minister Office.
